also referred to as "The Bringers of Chaos"
The Megid are human-like beings with strange powers that differ greatly from one another. some humans say that this race originalted from the under or nether worlds, depending on who you ask, but the chaos dont say where they originate from.
Megids were said to be the "Harbingers of destruction" back when they were first discovered. they attacked in small waves, but each Megid possessed a power, so it only took small numbers to easily wipe out a small town. over time, many Megid broke off from this mainstream idea of seeking pain and destruction.
its unknown to humans at least, if they follow some form of rule. they do let any that wish to serve them live, however any that had opposed them would be killed on sight.
lifespan: a standard lifetime of a Megid is unknown. what is bow is that they can outlive numerous human lifetimes, so its asumed they could become over five hundred years old.
personality: similar to humans, the Megid differ from one another greatly in personality, but for the most part they are agressive and see most other races as "pests" that need to be exterminated. others that no longer see Humans as pests see them as a curious race, and wonder how they strived to where they are now.
physical description: most Megid bear different features, mostly no two Megid are the same. most do share a feature of having navy-coloured horns that go off in different directions. they can weigh as much as or heavier than a standard human (depending on how they develope). most Chaos have pale or normal skin tones when compared to other humans.
the difference between genders is significant, both having sometimes exaggerated proportions (for males, meaning they sometimes have more muscle, while females have larger-than-normal breasts, hips, and thighs.)
powers and abilities: most Megid, other than noticable enhanced physical strength, have an ability that somewhat unique to them, or unique among a certain group. theres no limit on which Megid has what power, but they are limited on usage of said power.
Megid's powers can varty from elemental alteration, to physical ateration, to gene alteration.
elemental alteration can cover any element like fire, water, electricity, and even in some rare cases, time and space itself.
physical alteration allowes the user to change their body shape and size at will. a male can make himself into a giant instantly, or a female can try and make themselves look more sexually attractive, or take on other features. the powers are limited by two factors; they can not completly change their appearance to turn themselves into a complelty new person, and this power is well known to be unstable for certain Megid. in some cases, some Megid are unable to control this and may change at random.
Gene Alteration, a rare alteration power among the Megid, allows one to do what Physical Alteration cant; rewrite ones DNA, making them into someone, or something, new. this power can change ones physical appearance into another, or can even change one race into another. there is the problem that this process is NOT reversable, therefore if you become a Megid via gene alteration, your stuck like it. the power does possess a limit; if used too frequently, it can cause unwanted physical or mental changes to a person, possibly turning them into an abomination.
there are cases of Megid having powers such as being able to read minds or talk to animals, but these cases are rare.
having a power is said to be a privaledge at birth, since some Chaos dont have any known powers.
religion: they claim not to have any gods, or a religion. Megid, instead, worship gods of the races they live among. its unknown why they didnt believe in a high and mighty power of their own.
languages: no Megid has been seen or heard talking in their nartive tongue. they are often heard talking near-perfect english, or other languages by other races and cultures. if they have a native language is unknow.
as with some beings (the holstaurus being an example), the Megid give birth only to more of their own kind. However, the offspring tend to inherit traits from both parents and the race is susceptible to both positive and negative mutations
(since different races have different ratios, cowgirls imparticular, this lil ratio has been wrote up to mention probable odds of having an offspring with said race as an example):
: 25% chance for female Cowgirl, 25% chance for a male Megid, 25% chance for a female Megid, and the last 25% chance of miscarriage due to incompatible genetics.
culture and lifestyle:
originally, Megid were said to only have been created to cause pain and suffering. they followed the simple princliple of slaughterring anything that was below them that didnt serve them for dozens of years. Over time, some of their kind turned against the old principles as they thought on about the pessimistic worldview they had been given. Some stayed on the path of destruction, yet those who refused to walk on an endless warpath chose to find a new meaning in life, whether it be in peace or in self-exile.
